Hi! My name is Alkistis Papageorgiou, and i am the designer, manufacturer and founder of "Alkisti Jewelry".
I was born in the beautiful and cold Thessaloniki, at 1988. Now i am located at the beautiful tropical island of Syros, since i first came here to study.
From the moment that i remember myself i was creative, playing with plaster and clay, thick wire and beads, trying to give shape to my ideas. While studying product design, in Syros at the university of the Aegean, i was trying to apply my passion for jewelry, as case scenario, in many different design projects on courses like branding, marketing, ergonomics etc. Also i searched about the production of paper jewelry and experimented selling online and at fairs, with my first brand "pART". After studying Jewelry Design, in Porto with Erasmus, i fell in love with metal and silversmith and since then i am still experimenting, enriching my techniques and materials to the finest possible.
At 2016 i decided to follow my passion for design and jewelry, as a full time job and founded my first physical retail shop/studio. In the heart of Ermoupolis, The “A Drop Design Studio" at Kotsovili 11, which is now and since 2019, called “Alkisti Jewelry Atelier” and it’s where i will be very happy to meet you!
All the jewels are meticulously hand crafted by me at my instore studio (same location), using recycled gold 14k, silver, semiprecious gemstones, colorful resin ... and the inspiration never ends!
My tip is that you manage to pay us a visit, so that you have the chance to see at my bench the under construction pieces and choose your favourite stones for a special custom made design. Everything is made by me, with love and some extra magic!
