Labradorite belongs to the same gemstone family as Moonstone, the feldspar-group minerals. It is one of my favorite semi precious stones, because it is iridescent with special color effects according to the direction of the light. and so it is really difficult to capture their beauty on the photo.
The two parts look like, they are floating on your hand due to the special band which is open on the top and so you can adjust it to fit your finger.
